The Challenge – An Overgrown, Uneven Garden

Our customer approached us after moving into a new build home where the garden had been left in poor condition. The grass was overgrown, the ground was uneven and sloping, and the space had no character or practical use. It wasn’t a garden they could relax in or entertain guests — and they wanted that to change.

Understanding the Vision

Before lifting a single tool, we sat down with the customer to understand exactly what they wanted and how they planned to use their garden. They dreamed of a modern, low-maintenance garden with areas for barbecues, summer evenings, and relaxing under ambient lighting.

The Design & Installation

We created a custom garden design that levelled the sloping ground to create a smooth, usable space. The top area was designed with porcelain patio tiles, perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining. We added wooden sleepers to frame the garden and provide raised sections for planting — ideal for the customer to add their own finishing touches with plants and flowers.

At the bottom of the garden, we laid lush, flat green turf to create a soft, open lawn area perfect for children, pets, or simply enjoying the sunshine. To complete the look, we installed ambience garden lighting, enhancing the atmosphere for relaxing evenings outdoors.

The Result

The transformation was incredible — the garden went from an unusable, sloped patch of overgrown grass to a beautiful, practical outdoor living space. The project took just three weeks from start to finish, and the customer was thrilled with the result.
